How to Get Cinnamon Glaze Sheer Nails at Home
Sheer cinnamon, warm and glassy, like glaze on a bun. Medium almond nails let the color stretch, and the nail still shows through. It is a fall brown that does not go opaque.
The color story
A warm amber brown, more cinnamon than mocha. Sheer, so the centre stays lighter and the tip and side walls look a little deeper. The top coat makes it glassy.

Push back cuticles, shape to a medium almond, and lightly buff the shine off the nail plate, including the tip. Brush off the dust, wipe with rubbing alcohol or a nail dehydrator, and let the nail dry completely.
Base coat
Brush on a thin layer and cap the edge. Keep it off the skin and cuticles.

Pro tips
- Glaze, not paint. If the brown looks solid, you used too much. Wipe the brush and float the coat.
- Warm light helps. Cinnamon reads browner in cool light and more amber in warm light. The top coat keeps it glassy either way.
- Thumbs flat in the lamp. A tilted thumb sits in the shadow of the lamp and can stay under-cured. Cure thumbs flat, or cure them on their own.
- Patch-test first. Gel can cause allergies. Keep it off your skin and cuticles, and stop if you get itching or redness.
FAQ
Is Citrus Latte the cinnamon shade?
Yes. Amazon lists it as an amber-brown jelly, warm like caramel. Mocha Mist and Morning Mocha, in the alternatives, are cooler brown sheers.
How long does it last, and how do I remove it?
With good prep and thin, fully cured layers, expect about 2–3 weeks. To remove, lightly buff the shine off the top coat, soak a cotton pad in acetone, and wrap each nail in foil for at least 15 minutes. Then gently push the gel off. If it still holds, soak for another 5 minutes. Never peel it.
